Success Stories
Real businesses earning real money from pallets they used to throw away.
Warehouse Clearing House
A warehouse clearing house had 3,000 surplus pallets sitting unused and taking up valuable floor space. One phone call to Riverside Pallet Co. turned that dead inventory into $12,000 in cash — and freed up 4,000 square feet of warehouse space in a single day.
Manufacturing Plant
A manufacturing plant generates hundreds of pallets weekly from incoming raw materials. Through our scheduled buyback program with biweekly pickups, they now earn $4,500 every month — turning a disposal headache into a reliable revenue stream.
Step-By-Step Buyback Process
From the first phone call to the check in your hand, here is exactly what happens at every stage of our buyback program.
Initial Assessment
Call us or fill out our online form with details about your pallets: quantity, size, wood type, and condition. Photos are helpful but not required. We provide an estimated range within 2 hours.
On-Site Evaluation
For large lots (500+), we send a buyer to your location to inspect the pallets in person. We assess grade distribution, identify any specialty pallets, and provide a firm per-unit price on the spot.
Price Confirmation
You receive a written quote with per-pallet pricing broken down by grade (A, B, C) and total lot value. Quotes are valid for 14 days and include free pickup for qualifying quantities.
Scheduled Pickup
Choose a pickup date and time window that works for your operations. Our crew arrives with flatbed trucks, forklifts, and all necessary equipment. No prep work required on your end.
Count & Verification
Our crew counts every pallet on-site using a standardized tally method. You sign off on the count before we load. This prevents any disputes and ensures full transparency.
Payment & Receipt
Payment is issued within 5 business days via check or direct deposit. You receive a digital receipt showing exact count, grade breakdown, per-unit pricing, and total payment amount.

Benefits of Selling Your Pallets
Stop paying for disposal. Start earning from what you already have.
Turn Waste Into Revenue
Pallets that cost you money to dispose of are worth cash in our buyback program. A company generating 200 pallets per month can earn $6,000-$12,000 annually instead of paying for dumpster hauls.
Free Up Floor Space
Surplus pallets take up valuable warehouse real estate. A stack of 100 pallets occupies roughly 320 square feet. Regular buyback pickups keep your facility clean and productive.
Eliminate Disposal Costs
Dumpster rental, waste hauling, and landfill tipping fees for pallets can cost $500-$2,000 per month. Our buyback program replaces that expense with income.
Reduce Fire Hazard Risk
Large pallet stockpiles are a significant fire hazard. Insurance companies penalize businesses with excessive wood inventory. Regular buyback pickups keep your risk profile low.
Meet Sustainability Goals
Every pallet we buy back is reused or recycled. We provide documented diversion certificates showing tons of wood diverted from landfills — ideal for your ESG reporting.
Zero Effort Required
We handle everything: scheduling, loading, counting, hauling, and payment. You do not need to sort, stack, or prep pallets in any way. Just point our crew to the pile.
What Our Clients Say
We were literally paying a waste company $800 a month to haul away pallets. Now Riverside Pallet Co. pays us to take them. The switch generated over $15,000 in new revenue last year while saving us $9,600 in disposal costs.
Their crew is professional, fast, and always on time. They counted every pallet right in front of us, had us sign off, and the check arrived in 4 days. No hassle, no hidden fees. Exactly as promised.
The biweekly scheduled pickup has been a game changer. We no longer have pallets stacking up in the yard creating a fire hazard. And the extra $3,000 a month goes straight to our bottom line.

Buyback FAQ
Everything you need to know about selling your pallets to us.
What is the minimum number of pallets for pickup?
Our minimum for scheduled pickup is 50 pallets. For smaller quantities, you are welcome to drop pallets off at our Riverside yard during business hours (Monday-Saturday, 7am-4pm). There is no minimum for drop-off.
Do I need to sort the pallets before you pick them up?
No. Our crew handles all sorting and grading on-site. You do not need to separate pallets by size, condition, or type. Just have them accessible and our team does the rest.
How quickly do I get paid?
Payment is issued within 5 business days of pickup. We offer payment by company check or direct deposit (ACH). For recurring sellers, direct deposit is recommended for fastest processing.
Do you buy pallets with nails sticking out or broken boards?
Yes. We buy pallets in all conditions, including those with protruding nails, broken boards, and structural damage. Heavily damaged pallets are priced at our Grade C or Scrap rate, but they still have value.
Can I schedule recurring pickups?
Absolutely. Most of our commercial customers are on weekly, biweekly, or monthly pickup schedules. Recurring customers receive priority scheduling, locked-in pricing, and volume bonus rates.
Do you buy plastic pallets?
Yes. We purchase plastic pallets of all types and conditions, including HDPE, PP, and nestable/stackable designs. Plastic pallets typically command higher buyback prices than wood.
What areas do you cover for pallet pickup?
We cover all of Southern California including Riverside County, San Bernardino County, Orange County, Los Angeles County, and San Diego County. Extended service to Central California, Arizona, and Nevada is available for large volumes.
Is there a contract or long-term commitment?
No. There are no contracts, minimums commitments, or cancellation fees. You can sell to us once or set up recurring pickups. You can pause or cancel your schedule at any time with 48 hours notice.
