We believe in transparent pricing. Here are the factors that determine your per-pallet cost so there are no surprises.

Pallet Condition / Grade

Largest pricing factor

Grade A (like new) pallets cost more than Grade B (good, minor cosmetic wear) or Grade C (economy, fully functional). New custom-built pallets are priced highest. Choosing a lower grade for applications where cosmetics do not matter is the easiest way to reduce your cost.

Order Volume

Up to 25% discount

We offer tiered volume discounts starting at 500 pallets per order. The more you order, the lower your per-unit price. Recurring monthly commitments receive additional pricing advantages over one-time spot orders.

Pallet Size & Specifications

Standard vs. custom

Standard 48x40 GMA pallets are our most cost-effective option because we maintain deep inventory. Custom sizes, non-standard lumber species, or specific load ratings require additional sourcing or fabrication, which increases cost.

Treatment Requirements

+$1.00 - $2.50 per pallet

Heat treatment for ISPM-15 compliance adds a surcharge to cover kiln processing, temperature monitoring, and certification stamping. This is required for all pallets used in international shipping or food/pharma applications.

Delivery Distance

Free local, scaled by distance

Delivery within the Inland Empire is free for orders over 200 pallets. Outside our local zone, delivery costs scale based on distance, load size, and route frequency. Pickup from our facility is always free.

Seasonal fluctuation

Lumber commodity prices and seasonal demand affect pricing. Spring and fall harvest seasons see higher demand and slightly higher prices. We lock pricing for partnership clients to shield them from market volatility.

Credit Application Process

Applying for Net 30 terms is simple. Complete our one-page credit application form, provide two trade references and your bank information, and we will process your application within 48 hours. Most qualified businesses are approved for an initial credit line of $5,000-$25,000.

Credit limits are reviewed quarterly and may be increased based on payment history and volume growth. We report positive payment history to Dun & Bradstreet, which can help build your business credit profile.

How quickly will I receive my quote?

Most quotes are returned within 4 hours during business hours. Complex custom requests may take up to 24 hours. Rush quotes for standard in-stock items can be provided over the phone in minutes — call (951) 555-0101.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No minimum for pickup orders from our Riverside facility. For delivery, the minimum depends on your location: 50 pallets for Inland Empire, 100 for greater SoCal, 200 for Central Valley, and 500 for interstate. Smaller quantities can be shipped via LTL freight at standard freight rates.

Can I mix grades in a single order?

Absolutely. Many clients order Grade A pallets for customer-facing shipments and Grade B or C for internal use, warehousing, or export. Mixed-grade orders are quoted per grade, and we can load them in separate stacks on the same truck for easy sorting at your dock.

How long is a quote valid?

Standard quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued. After 14 days, prices may be subject to change based on lumber market conditions and inventory availability. Partnership clients receive locked pricing for 12 months regardless of market fluctuations.

Do you match competitor pricing?

We will review any written competitor quote for equivalent products and do our best to match or beat it. Provide us with the competitor quote — including pallet grade, size, treatment, and quantity — and we will respond within 24 hours with our best price.

What if my needs change after I place an order?

Orders can be modified up until production or pull begins. For standard in-stock items, that is typically within 2 hours of order placement. For custom orders, modifications can be made within 24 hours. Cancellation fees apply only for custom-built pallets already in production.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. Your quote will include the per-pallet price, any applicable treatment surcharges, and delivery cost. There are no fuel surcharges, environmental fees, pallet surcharges, or administrative fees. The price on your quote is the price you pay.

Do you offer seasonal contracts for agricultural businesses?

Yes. We work with many agricultural clients who need surge capacity during harvest seasons. We offer seasonal contracts that guarantee availability and pricing for peak periods (typically April through October) with reduced or zero commitments during off-season months.

Can I request a sample before ordering?

Yes. We will provide up to 5 sample pallets in your requested grade and specification at no charge. Samples are available for pickup at our facility or can be included in your next area delivery at no additional cost. This lets you inspect quality before committing to a full order.

What payment is required to confirm an order?

No deposit or prepayment is required for existing accounts with approved credit terms. First-time cash customers are asked to pay 50% upon order confirmation and 50% upon delivery, or full payment upon delivery (COD). After your first three successful orders, you can apply for Net 30 terms.
